New Year's resolutions

Now ten days after New Year's Eve I wanna know, how many of you are still focused on your New Year's resolutions? I stopped making resolutions a couple years ago, because I never stayed focused and I think you can start doing something right now without waiting for the new year to come.
To my opinion, the 'New year - new me' stuff is annoying. Do you really think you are gonna change, because the new year started? Why not just change at the second you are not satisfied anymore? In German we have a proverb that says, do everything you have to do today rather than tomorrow. It's true. Why wait with going to the gym? If you want to loose weight or get fit, start today. And the same for being a better person. Do nice things for people today and don't hope for becoming a better person tomorrow or next year, it might be too late by then.
Maybe for some people the start of a new year means the beginning of something new and this helps them to keep focused on their resolutions and if they really stay focused it's good that they have something that pushes them, however, unfortunately most people never keep their resolutions, like this picture indicates. You just keep your resolutions and as you
can notice, the person is still working on his resolutions from 2011 - they just changed a bit.
I want you to keep your resolutions and even if it takes some time, don't loose your faith! Keep working and stay focused!

Happy New Year!
